The Patriot

Ah love tae go a wanderin’
Aroon the hills o East Kilbride.
It gies me a sense o belangin’
It fills me wae Scottish pride.

But here, don’t take ma word furrit
Away oot furra walk an’ ye’ll see,
There’s mair tae East Kilbride
An ye git it aw fur free.

Take yer children away oot furra walk
Gently lead them by the hand.
Show them a wee bit o Scotland
Show them some of our wonderful land.
