Smith Family – Grandad Smith – May 1941

In the Bottom Raw, we were lucky to have gardens to the front. This is my grandfather growing, I presume veg. The garden butted up against the corrugated iron wall of Blantyre Celtic football ground.

The Smith family lived at 93 Craighead Rows ( Baird’s Raws ) and Dad developed all his own photos.
