Smith Family – Fire at the Knights of St. Columba Building

Knights of St. Columba Building, Glasgow Road. McNally’s chip shop on gable end.

The year is unknown but probably in the late 70’s, perhaps someone can let us know. The driveway to the right was to Wm. McSeveney’s Coachbuilders and the two pillars still stand today. The Building was demolished and a single story building built on the site, now Sun House Chinese Take-a-way.

The Smith family lived at 93 Craighead Rows ( Baird’s Raws ) and Dad developed all his own photos.
