First Love

We stand at each side of the river
Watch the bridge slowly perish away
Reaching out for one last chance
For our love is drifting away

We reminisce of our time together
Relive our every moment
The good times we used to have
The troubles and the torment

In comparison to a first chapter
Began like a blossoming rose
No dream fairytale ending
To bring our story to a close

Wounded hearts, they shall heal
With a lot of time and tears
A new dawning will be there for us
To chase away our fears

From deep within, we will always care
Have feelings within our heart
That song will always play for us
