McLean brothers owned the Springfield Mineral water company in High Blantyre around the 1900's. Dear Bill

I saw a photo on your website of the Mclean brothers who owned the Springfield Mineral Water Company in high Blantyre around the 1900’s, Alexander Mclean had been killed in the Udston explosion and his son Alexander badly burned. Alexander’s mother and nephew also lost their lives in a house fire in Blantyre in 1909. I think it was on Stonefield Road.

Alexander, I think was the brother who started up in business and his brother’s worked with him, my great grandfather James Mclean worked with his brothers William and Donald in the company.
